Top 5 Summer Toys
Trying to set up a backyard to keep your kids busy for hours?
Over the last few years we have been working on our outdoor space, enjoyable for adults and fun for the kids. In this post I want to share 5 great toys to setup for a full day of summer fun without leaving your yard.
First I setup our 16 ft rainbow parachute. This can be played with by itself, or set out on the lawn as a colorful area rug for the kids to play on!
Next up is the water table! I have found multi uses with this because in the cold months we bring it inside. Small shovels and watering can go with it to make sensory play lots of fun. Setting this up on the parachute creates a nice spot for my daughter. She doesn't love bugs, so this helps them stay out of her way!
Splash pad sprinkler. This sprinkler is great because I feel it's safer when you have more than one child running around. Eleanor can sit in the puddle part and I don't have to worry about her drowning while I take care of the baby.
Toddler Trampoline has been a huge hit. There have been times she's been inside it's enclosure for 45 minutes. I like that she can't fall off and it's springless. A toddler trampoline can last them for years being the weight max is 150 lbs.
A UV pop up tent. This may not sound as fun as the other recommendations but this is Eleanor's little getaway when she wants a break from the sun or to eat her lunch. This little tent has lasted 3 summers. We also bring it to the beach, it's helpful with me nursing, and shading the kids and dog!
