Shoes on in the house

This is topic that I didn’t understand until I had a baby. It really gets my goat that my husband won’t take his shoes off! I get it, he works from home he likes to shower and get dressed for the day (shoes and all). Now it’s 8pm on a Tuesday night and they are still on.

I sweep, swifter, vacuum reapeat! Everyday! I know it may sound like a lot but with the dog and baby I just do. Not to mention the germs you bring in from the street 😖

Researchers at the University of Houston found that about 40% of shoes were carrying the nasty “C.diff” bacterium. Also there is a disgusting quantity of dust, bird droppings, dog poop, leafy debris and other unwanted matter. The leafy stuff acts as a breeding ground for bacteria. Ok that’s all I needed to read. Maybe I’m crazy but I don’t want our baby all over that grossness!!

This might be a battle I’m not winning. I promise to ask before I go to someone’s house from now on. I’ll start stocking up on cute socks 💁🏻‍♀️
